VERY pleased with our DJ! She played great music, helped me keep things going. It all ran smoothly, we were very happy with her!! She just instinctively knew what type of music to play. Deb did a great job with the music and as a karaoke DJ. We could tell that she made the experience positive, as most of our participants signed up and sang. She interacted very well with everyone, and did a lot to help make our holiday party an enjoyable experience for all involved, which is the best encouragement for people to participate next year. Deb played softer Christmas music during the meal, which fit with the atmosphere perfectly. She timed the start of karaoke well. Everything sounded great! Rick does a great job of knowing what music will work with the group that is being entertained. He's always on time, polite and very affordable for the product that is delivered. Rick has a great song selection that seems to appeal to the masses. He also has a great music selection for karaoke and a 'slick' way to view the song list ahead of time on his web site. We've never had a problem with the equipment. The mics don't squeek and the sound is always great! Mentioned karaoke above -- great job! Showtime is very affordable. I never have to worry about the DJ/karaoke service that Rick brings to an event and that's a huge plus. Doing right - price, quality & reliability. We have used Showtime Entertainment for the past two years. Our summer event was held at the Iowa State Fair and we used Rick to do preliminary Talent Shows so we could pick winners from each entity that would perform at the main event. Rick shows up on time, with plenty of equipment to work for everyone's needs, is very experienced, entertains the crowd during down times and makes our event fun. He is a professional at his craft and we felt we definitely got our money's worth. Also he lends his experience to help make the event run smooth. If we continue doing events and need a DJ/Karaoke company we will definitely contact Rick. Rick has a wide-variety of music and a Web site that is a great help to individuals looking for an idea, or making sure the song they wish to sing is available. Also he has worked around the problem if someone just brought their own CD with words. His equipment seems up-to-date. Rick Ludwig was most professional and extremely experienced in his work. All 185 employees had a most memorable time. We will not hesitate to look at rebooking Showtime in the future. During our event the music played was appropriate for the theme, well organized and all requests were handled. The volume was controlled in such a way that all could still visit and yet dancers could hear very well. Showtime Entertainment has first class state-of-the-art equipment. The computerized music and high quality sound made the evening very enjoyable for all, singers, dancers and listeners. As we are a county hospital and are not allowed to spend hospital funds on employee parties our A-team plans and pays for all expenses associated with our yearly event. Brian and Rick were both very professional and helpful throughout the planning process, and everything went smoothly the night of the event. There was a good balance between the DJ and Karaoke portion of the event. The dance floor was filled for the first time in years!! Showtime's equipment was great. We priced many different companies for the event, and Showtime gave us the best product for the amount spent. Showtime was not the cheapest, but still offered a reasonable rate. For the amount of entertainment (DJ/Karaoke and Game Shows), they were without doubt the best price. As a committee, our goal was to have the best party ever. The last few years, the party was lacking. We made some positive changes, and brought back Showtime for the second year. By adding the Game Shows, and keeping with the DJ/Karaoke, we offered enough variety to make everyone happy. With our changes, we found that people stayed later and seemed to enjoy themselves much more. The following Monday we heard the best comments we had in years!!! Everyone had a great time! Overall, the service was excellent. As I mentioned before, we had the best comments we had heard in years. This was our third year using Showtime Entertainment. Each year our clients are very impressed with the type of entertainment Rick provides. He knows how to get the crowd involved and continues to entertain them until the event is over. Rick just seems to know what type of music will get the crowd involved based on the theme for the evening. Our event has a wide age range as well as folks from all over the United States and Canada. Everyone is continually impressed with the music he plays. He is open to requests and relates well to the crowd. We like the way he gets out there and line dances with the rest of the group. The equipment is fine... the volume is always just right, and the lighting he uses is an added plus. Rick is always set up and ready to go on time. The price is very affordable... you get so much more than what you pay for. As the entertainment coordinator I like Rick’s professionalism and enthusiasm. You can tell he truly likes his job. It was very easy to work with Showtime Entertainment. The booking, payment, set-up and tear-down all went smoothly. Very accommodating. Our DJ Brandon was great. He followed directions to a T and was friendly and cooperative. He worked hard to get a very hard crowd "going". My experience with Showtime was great. Debbie was very helpful and putting the whole thing together with her ideas. She did a great job as a DJ to really get people started. I thought that it would be hard to get people involved in dancing and karaoke but she really got them going, I even did karaoke and said I would NEVER do it.
