We had a fabulous time... many comments on how great you were. We again appreciate you working with us on the extra hour... even after over 5 hours of dancing! Rick did a fabulous job with the entertainment... he even line danced with a bunch of girls (tough job!) to keep the party flowing. Many of my guests commented on how great a job was being done by selecting music according to the crowd. Requests were played and all the other songs in between were fantastic. Great sound and the lights created a fun party-like atmosphere. We booked fairly late and on a Friday night so we were able to take advantage of some of the on-line offers. Definitely a great value for the $. I felt from the beginning that I was dealing with professionals. Although I'm not a professional event organizer, I do hold or am involved with several large events per year and wouldn't hesitate to work with Showtime Entertainment again. Typically, the week & day before the party I am calling around to everyone just to "double-check" we are all set. I did not make one call since booking and knew I didn't need to... A huge step for me but tremendous KUDOS to you for allowing that to happen. We had no idea so many people would be enjoying themselves so late!! A TESTIMONIAL: I contacted Showtime Entertainment (Rick) at least 6 months before our party, having done a search engine survey of Iowa's DJ/Karaoke Suppliers, and then maybe a couple of times prior to the actual evening of the event (an 80th birthday party for my mother)! All during that time, I was focused on other aspects of the party (such as producing a video of my mother's life, with words, images, and music), finding the proper venue, dealing with party favors, guest lists, flowers, balloons, the cake, invitations, hotel arrangements, directions, etc.) It was an overwhelming amount of stuff to do. All during that time, I really had no worries about Showtime Entertainment's piece of the party picture. Their website says it all! They basically take away the stress of something about which I know next to nothing. I arrived at the party 1/2 hour early, saw that everything was (mostly) in order. I then proceeded to help lay out the tables, with party favors, flowers, balloons, and then assisted in supervising the hors de oeuvres table, etc. Only then did I realize that there was music playing, and there was this beautiful blonde woman (i.e., Deb) standing there smiling! It was as if she's done this a million times! Oh wait! That's why I chose these folks in the 1st place! To say that I didn't worry about the evening's entertainment piece would be an understatement. To say that Showtime Entertainment's part of the fun was completely flawless would be closer to the truth. To say that I would recommend them, without any concerns, whatsoever, would be precise! They're pros! Their playing of my video on their LCD large screen projector looked amazing! The music, played during cocktails, dinner, and then dancing, was perfect! Deb handled the great, not-so-great, and legends-in-their-own-minds' karaoke singers all with equal finesse. "A Plus" should be their name! Cause that's what I give them for their efforts! Thanks again! P.S.- EVERYONE exclaimed at the party how well-organized it was! Well, I'm a former Fortune 50 marketing director, so that was only to be expected. I'm obsessive compulsive about planning. It takes a team, however, for anything to turn out well, and Showtime Entertainment was a great addition to my mom's 80th birthday party team! Deb did an excellent job the night of our event. She picked up quickly on what we wanted and played everything requested. She was very patient, helpful and a fun person to work with. The number of selections was incredible. I would not hesitate to contract Showtime Entertainment for any future events we might have. Thanks again for the great job! Great selections.
