Lip Sync Contest

Lip Sync Contest?  That's right, it's not a live band and it's not karaoke, but it is extremely entertaining!!!

Since 1985, Showtime Entertainment has had a part in providing crowds (schools and colleges) with Lip Sync Contest entertainment.

How does it work?  Various teams are formed to compete against one another on who can Lip Sync to their song of choice the best!!!  A variation is to have them sing from a list of random songs, which wouldn't allow the teams much time to prepare.  The contest is based upon the judging of how accurate the Lip Syncing is done, but also on value added point scoring bonuses such as props, costumes, make up, choreography (dance moves) and overall stage performance entertainment.  This is all dependant upon how much time teams have to prepare for their song of choice (or random song).

Team preparation can be spontaneous (under 5 minutes) or well prepared (up to weeks).  Depends upon how you wish to promote the contest.

Lip Sync contests are even more entertaining than most karaoke performances.
