Q: What is Gleekeoke? A: It's Karaoke for Gleeks.

Gleekeoke was an idea formed in January 2011 to combine songs made popular in the hit sensation Glee (on KDSM Fox17) with Karaoke. There are hundreds of songs that have been sung during the first two seasons of Glee and a separate list has been compiled for you to sing these songs during a portion of a karaoke show (Gleekeoke).

It's kind of a special spotlight on Glee songs we call Gleekeoke! Not only that, before Gleekeoke, you can even stop in and watch the weekly episode of Glee and then perform songs sung in that episode or other Glee favorites! Before Glee airs on KDSM Fox17, there's even time to stop in to sing any karaoke song you desire (over 18,000 songs). Feel free to have a cup of great coffee or a delicious and healthy sandwich, wrap or panini.

The "Gleekeoke" idea was conceptualized by Isa O'Hara, owner of The Green Grounds Cafe in West Des Moines, Iowa. The term Gleekeoke was coined by Rick Ludwig, owner of Showtime Entertainment DJ & Karaoke service, who provides the karaoke for Gleekeoke at The Green Grounds Cafe.
