Karaok-E-Thon 2007 on September 2nd raised $137 for MDA.
Karaoke-Stock 2007 from August 24th - 26th, 2007 raised $306 for MDA.
Rick "Elvis Biggs" Ludwig was locked up at Bonefish Grill in West Des Moines from 4pm-5pm on Thursday, April 12th 2007 to help raise funds for MDA. Over $50,000 was raised in this Stars Behind Bars campaign. Elvis Biggs did a little "Jailhouse Rock" (just kidding).
A 12-hour Karaok-E-Thon was held to raise funds for MDA at Trophy's on September 3rd, 2006. A raffle was held and the amount raised for the entire event was $124. Pictures of the karaoke singers appeared on the online Juice website and there was also an online Des Moines Register article written on the event.
On Labor Day, Monday September 3rd 2001, Showtime Entertainment held the annual Karaok-E-Thon to raise funds for MDA for 8 hours total at Wrigley's West in Urbandale. The show was a great time, and $289 was raised for MDA. The year 2000 total was $1930.
Since 1995, Showtime Entertainment has been holding Fund-Raisers to help MDA.

In the past, annually, on Labor Day Weekend, a 24-hour Karaok-E-Thon was held to raise funds for MDA. This karaoke fund-raiser usually runs for 24 hours total. Raffles have been held to raise additional funds during this time as well. Also, Showtime Showcases are an ongoing source of fund-raising for MDA. These 24-hour events were held at Prairie Meadows.
