Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa

On October 29th & 31st of 2006, Showtime Entertainment raised $36 for BBBS of Central Iowa by obtaining votes for the best Halloween costume, best singer and worst singer of the night.  Each voting ballot was $1 each.

From April 20th, 2004 until June 15th, 2004, Showtime Entertainment along with Trophy's (Plaza Lanes) of Des Moines joined together in fund-raising for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa during their big Showtime Karaoke Idol contest. 

Funds were raised by selling voting sheets for $2 a sheet, allowing the audience to cast votes for their favorite contestants.  Other fund-raising ideas were also entertained.

The Grand Total raised was $407!!!  Thanks to all who helped out!

Update:  Another $52 was raised during the second Karaoke Idol contest for a grand total of $459 for the year 2004.
