In June 2007, Showtime Entertainment helped with the annual ACS Relay For Life Walk for Waukee, Iowa. We played music during the walk to motivate walkers, while they walked to fulfill their pledge from 6pm-6am (12 hours). We made it through the entire 12 hours this time (no rain). We also have helped with the 2008 and 2009 relays.

provided very professional services to us from the coordination and planning of
the event through the entire 12 hours of the event. He was friendly, fun
and entertaining. Very easy to work with and accommodating. Always
willing to help us when we had questions or needed something on the spur of the
moment. He was very interactive with the crowd and other
entertainers. The music was very interactive and fun for all ages.
He played all types of music so that everyone was entertained. The crowd
especially loved his Elvis Biggs impersonation. Next year we will do it
earlier in the night so that more people can see him. He also did some
numbers for us with karaoke and has a beautiful voice. The equipment was
of high-quality and good sound. It looked pretty complicated to me, but
Rick handled it with ease. We used the karaoke to keep all ages
entertained from 12 midnight until 5am and it did the trick. People of all
ages and talents were willing to step up on stage to perform. Rick
provided us with a special price for a charitable cause (American Cancer Society
fundraiser). It was a steal and his services brought the entire event up
several notches allowing us to raise more money then we ever dreamed
possible. By Far The Best. Very accommodating and great to work

In June 2006, Showtime Entertainment helped with the annual ACS Relay For Life Walk for Waukee, Iowa. We played music during the walk to motivate walkers, while they walked to fulfill their pledge from 6pm-6am (12 hours), but the event was cancelled at 10:30pm due to severe thunderstorm warnings, unfortunately. There were also live bands such as Godz Guyz with Dalend Mackey.
Rick -- I just wanted to say “THANK YOU” so much for your awesome work at this year’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life! You really helped to make our event flow as smoothly as it did! The announcements that we were able to have you make, the background music, the announcement of the teams, the coordination of the band set-ups – your help was so appreciated and you did such an outstanding job! There are not a lot of people out there that are so willing to give their time and services as you are to community charities – I can tell you put your heart and soul into the work that you do and into making the event as enjoyable as possible for everyone – your special touches really add a unique approach to the evening and you helped set our event apart from others and we really hope you can come again next year!!! We played music during the walk to motivate walkers, while they walked to fulfill their pledge from 6pm-6am (12 hours). We also sang karaoke and did many fun games like the mummy wrap.
Dear Rick: Thank you for the great job you did at the Relay for Life! It was a huge success! I can almost walk again and my voice is just about back!
